Concept cover artwork
I made these designs in 2019 as journal covers for a fictional popular
science magazine. For each image, the right side is the front cover,
and the left side is an advertisement for the back cover.
These covers were an opportunity to improve my digital art skills
while also serving as social commentary on the public perception of science,
on scientific optimism, and on the relationship between popular science and
the scientific method.
